TERMS & CONDITIONS

These T&C’s refer to our service (filming & editing) of Perfect Video Company.

1. Booking & Payments
    • Advance Deposit: An advance deposit of $500 is required to reserve the event date. This deposit will be credited toward your total package balance.

    • Deposit Refundability:

      • If the Client cancels more than 60 days prior to the event date, the $500 deposit is fully refundable.

      • If the Client cancels within 60 days of the event date, the $500 deposit becomes non-refundable.

    • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the event date.

2. Event Coverage & Permissions
  • Creative Discretion: Perfect Video Company will make every reasonable effort to capture all requested moments, but final shot selection and artistic coverage remain at the videographer’s discretion.

  • Venue Restrictions: The Client is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions from the venue or officiating staff for equipment setup, lighting, and recording. Perfect Video Company is not liable for restricted angles, obstructed views, or missed footage resulting from venue rules or official restrictions.

  • Working Environment: The Client acknowledges that quality videography requires adequate lighting and sound control. The videographer is not responsible for compromised media quality caused by poor lighting, guest interference, or third-party vendor disruption.

  • Exclusivity & Safe Conditions: Perfect Video Company must be the sole official videographer for the event. We reserve the right to cease filming immediately without liability or refund if working conditions become unsafe, abusive, or hostile.

3. Media Ownership & Licensing
  • Ownership & Raw Footage: All original raw recordings, audio, and digital files remain the exclusive property of Perfect Video Company. Raw (unedited) footage is not included in standard package deliverables and will be archived for 60 days post-event.

  • Usage License: Upon full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive license to use the final edited deliverables strictly for personal, non-commercial viewing.

  • Music Licensing: Any copyrighted music included in final edits is licensed for private viewing only and may not be used for commercial broadcasts or unauthorized public performances.

  • Promotional Use: The Client grants Perfect Video Company permission to use excerpts, images, and clips from the final production for promotional, advertising, website, and social media marketing purposes.

4. Post-Production & Delivery
  • Creative Style: All editing and post-production will align with Perfect Video Company’s established artistic style and pre-agreed specifications. Creative decisions made during editing are subjective and do not constitute grounds for refunds or revisions outside the agreed scope.

5. Cancellations & Unforeseen Events
  • Client Cancellation:

    • If the Client cancels more than 60 days before the event date, the $500 deposit is fully refundable.

    • If the Client cancels within 60 days of the event date (or changes the venue without notifying Perfect Video Company), the $500 deposit and any other collected fees become completely non-refundable.

  • Force Majeure: Neither party will be held liable for failure to perform due to acts of God, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, or unforeseen emergencies beyond control. If Perfect Video Company cannot fulfill the date and cannot secure a suitable replacement, all collected payments will be refunded.

  • Equipment Failure & Liability: In the rare event of total equipment failure, theft, or corrupted media, liability is strictly limited to a full refund of monies paid (excluding the deposit). Perfect Video Company carries no further financial liability for indirect or consequential damages.

  • Personal Injury: Perfect Video Company is not responsible for personal injuries, accidents, or property damage occurring during the shoot. Clients are encouraged to hold appropriate event insurance.
